Our mission
Loaded Miles exists to put the truth of the numbers back in the driver's hands. We give carrier-leased operators — the drivers who live on a settlement, not an invoice — the record-keeping, the real numbers, and the plain-language clarity to know whether they're actually making money. So no driver signs a lease, runs a load, or trusts a settlement they don't fully understand — and no one gets bled by deductions they never saw coming.
Where this came from
I spent 40 years in trucking — 15 of them behind the wheel. The hardest part was never the miles or the hours. It was never really knowing, week to week, whether the truck was actually making money.
Later, managing drivers, I watched it turn into something worse. Good people — new drivers chasing a dream — got pulled into lease-purchase programs they didn't fully understand. Buried in deductions. Boxed in by forced dispatch. Watching a settlement quietly slide toward zero until it was too late to climb out.
I started Loaded Miles to give those drivers the one thing I wish we'd all had from day one: the real numbers, in plain language, before a bad lease or a hidden deduction costs them everything.

What we built
That's why Loaded Miles is built settlement-first. Instead of a gross number that flatters the truth, it decodes every line a carrier deducts and shows your real net and your true cost per mile — what you actually keep. It flags a week trending negative before it becomes a crisis. And a free "before you sign" lease evaluator lets a driver see the likely net of a lease before the trap closes.
It's built first for the operators most exposed: lease operators and owner-operators leased to a carrier — many of them Spanish-first. That's why the truth is offered in both languages, from the ground up, not as an afterthought.
